Disposable Tools

Here at Iris, we use a brand new set up every single piercing

We use all new disposable tools and equipment. This means that once an implement (receiving tube, needle, tools, etc.) touches someone’s skin, it is thrown away and never used again. If a tool is used to insert jewelry, we give that tool to the person it was used on so that they have it for future removal/insertion of jewelry. Most tools are given away free of charge. And since we don’t store used tools, we don’t have a large contaminated area in our studio. The only dirty area in our studio is the inside of the trash can and the inside of the sharps disposal.
